Bell Ringing

Bellringing is a great team activity, sociable, challenging, excellent exercise and, most of all, fun.

Practice night is Thursday, from 19.30-21.00 in the belfry. New learners are always very welcome indeed.

THE BELLS WILL BE RINGING AT ALL SAINTS ON THE FOLLOWING DATES

On Sundays the bells will always be rung before the 10.30 service and sometimes before the 6pm service.

They will ring occasionally for Funerals.

Saturday 8^th November 2025 – Peak District Ringers ½muffled ¼ peal 16.00 -17.00aprx

Sunday 9^th November 2025- Remembrance – Ring bells half muffled 10.30 – 10.55.  Tenor will toll slowly until 10.59. Bells will then be silent and the clock will strike 11am – starting the 2 mins silence.  The bells will ring again when the parade leaves Rutland Square until it enters church 11.10 -11.20 approx

Wednesday 26^th November 2025 – Cub Scouts – Ringing experiences – 18.00 – 19.00

Thursday 4^th December 2025 – LMS Carol Service – Ring 18.30 – 19.00

Thursday 11^th December 2025 – Christmas Tree Festival (CTF)Open Ring 18.30 –19.00

Sunday 21^st December 2025 – Closing of CTF Carol Service – Ring 17.30 -18.00

Wednesday 24^th December 2025 – Christmas Eve – Crib Service Ring 15.30 – 16.00

Thursday 25^th December 2025 – Christmas Day – Ring 10.00 – 10.30

Thursday 1^st January 2026 – Sheffield Cathedral Peal Attempt – ring 12.00 – 15.30 aprx

Saturday 6^th June 2026 – Wedding Cancelled
