The church choir leads the music in worship at the 11.00am and 6.00pm Sunday services, as well as other occasions throughout the year. There is also a very popular joint Three Choirs Festival three times a year together with the church choirs of Ashford and Great Longstone.

Choir practice is at 7.30pm on Thursday evenings in the choir vestry.

New members are always welcome and there is no audition.

We wish to appoint an inspirational Organist/Choir Master/Mistress who will continue to develop the musical life of the parish, lead choir and play for services.

All Saints, Bakewell has a small but enthusiastic adult robed choir which sings at the Parish Choral Eucharist, Evensong, Occasional Offices (weddings and funerals) and other special services.

The choral repertoire is from Tudor to contemporary.  There are other organists who can cover holidays and other occasions to support you.

Plans are in place for the refurbishing of the Brindley and Foster 3 manual fine pipe organ and we hope to do this in 2019/2020.  There is an opportunity to be part of this process.

Remuneration follows the RSCM scale for a Band B church.

An Enhanced DBS will be required.

Bakewell is a Peak District Town with an annual Well Dressing.
